Five frameworks for responsible growth

HERO Models

HERO’s five business models organize how we evaluate opportunities and plan our work. Each land or development opportunity remains subject to feasibility, risk review, and governance approval. A model description does not mean that a particular parcel has been acquired, a partnership has been signed, or a project is ready for construction.

Model 1

Small-City Commercial Parcel Model

Evaluating commercial parcels under five acres in rural and small-city markets, with attention to visibility, service-oriented uses, and project feasibility.

Model 2

Private Landowner Partnership (JV) Model

A framework for evaluating potential joint ventures with private landowners and coordinating project-specific responsibilities. Any partnership depends on review and separately agreed terms.

Model 3

HERO-Owned Land Acquisition Model

A framework for potential direct acquisitions by HERO, focused on long-term ownership, responsible stewardship, and flexibility for future development.

Model 4

Administrative Services Model

Project-based administrative support for business organization, formation assistance, contract administration, document coordination, and related services.

Model 5

HERO Village Operations

Planning for the administration, oversight, long-term operations, and possible future expansion of HERO Village as the development progresses.

Projects & initiatives

Two distinct expressions of the HERO mission.

HERO Village is HERO’s flagship development project. The 100 Families Land Ownership Initiative is its flagship community initiative and is separate from the five business models.

PLANNING-PHASE PROJECT

HERO Village

A proposed rural family live-work community in Southern Ohio. HERO’s role centers on land acquisition, feasibility, development planning, and connections to builders, lenders, and other resources.

PLANNING & INTEREST GATHERING

100 Families Land Ownership Initiative

A long-term goal to help families prepare for land ownership, stability, entrepreneurship, and stewardship. Joining the interest list is free and requires no purchase.

No land, homes, or ownership opportunities are currently available. Interest-list signup does not guarantee admission, ownership, housing, financing, or a completion date. Model descriptions are planning frameworks and do not represent investment offers.
